EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – With snow on the way, parking bans have been set in place across western Massachusetts.

A parking ban will be in effect from 12:00 a.m. Saturday to 12:00 p.m. Saturday.

A winter parking ban is in effect from 8:00 p.m. on Friday until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Parking is not allowed on main roads and on the even side of secondary roads.

A snow emergency has been declared in the town, meaning there will be no on-street parking allowed from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Starting on Friday at 10:00 p.m., no on-street parking will be allowed. This parking ban will run until 7:00 a.m. on Sunday. The Easthampton Police Department says those who violate this ban could be ticketed and towed.

There will be a Parking Ban in effect beginning March 3rd at 6 p.m., until Sunday, March 5th at 8 a.m.

A parking ban is in effect from 1:00 a.m. on Saturday through 6:00 p.m. on Saturday on all streets.

A winter parking ban will be in effect from 5:00 p.m. Friday until Tuesday morning. There will be no parking on the ODD side of the street unless otherwise posted. There will also be no parking on cul de sacs.

A parking ban is in effect from 7 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday.

Parking on all City streets and in City parking lots is prohibited from 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM, except on Main Street, where parking is prohibited from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The Armory Street parking lot is open for overnight use during snow emergencies, except from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to allow for plowing.

The parking ban is being put in effect from Friday 3/3/2023 at 7 pm until tomorrow 3/4/23 at 7 pm.

A snow emergency has been declared in the city, meaning there is a parking ban from 7 a.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Sunday. Residents are asked to park on side streets. If no parking is available on side streets, residents are asked to following the regulations below:

A winter parking ban will be in effect for both Russell and Montgomery from 3 p.m. on Friday (March 3rd) until Noontime Sunday, March 5th. Violators may be subject to ticketing and or tow.

It is likely that snow arrives after 6 p.m. on Friday and starts as snow for everyone. The snow will transition to a wintry mix of snow and sleet Friday night into the day on Saturday, especially for areas south of the Mass. Pike.

The snow and wintry mix will gradually taper off Saturday afternoon and any snow will have trouble accumulating on paved surfaces late Saturday morning and afternoon with temperatures around or above freezing and the stronger March sun angle.

The 22News Storm Team will continue to update the timing and impacts of all the wintry weather headed our way.
