HOWARD — Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will be open for the first sale of the season on Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Faith Chapel UMC, 551 Hunter Run Road, Howard. Enter through the side door off the lower parking lot. This sale is indoors and will be held rain or shine.

Gently used clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family are available. Sizes range from infants through 3X,and are priced at $5 per bag full. Bags will be furnished. Free coffee, water and small snacks will also be available.

This season's sales to be held at the church are scheduled for July 15, Aug. 5, and Sept. 23. These sales will be rain or shine. Sales at the First Commonwealth Bank in Beech Creek will be June 10, July 29, and Sept. 9, and are weather dependent.

Bargains and Blessings Community Closet is an outreach ministry of Faith Chapel UMC that serves Beech Creek, Blanchard, Howard and surrounding areas. All proceeds go back into the community to help families in need.
