If you drive an electric vehicle, you can park for free at meters and kiosks under a Cincinnati permit program.

According to the city's website, drivers can apply and email their application. Then, they will schedule an electric vehicle inspection to receive the permit.

The permit allows drivers to park at city-owned meters and street parking kiosks.

Drivers just need to place their permit stick on the passenger side front windshield above the dashboard in the far-right corner.

The parking program doesn't include hybrid vehicles or electric vehicles that are able to utilize gasoline to extend their range.
