City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Indigenous Peoples' Day Holiday on Monday, October 10
Cambridge, MA, September 26, 2022 -- In observance of the Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday on Monday, October 10, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations. The offices at Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will be closed on the holiday, though the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
The city's appointment only COVID-19 test site at 295 Third Street, Cambridge, operated by CIC Health, will be open on Monday, October 10. For more information on testing and locations, visit www.cambridgema.gov/testing.
Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule for the week of October 10. Street cleaning will also be suspended on the holiday and will occur in advance on Thursday, September 29 for streets that would normally be swept on the second Monday of the month. Streets will be signed and posted.
