Durham Bulls Athletic Park

Duke and the Durham Bulls began their partnership

Duke and the Durham Bulls began their partnership prior to the Blue Devils' 2010 season. Duke can play up to 36 exhibition and home games at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP) each year.

The Durham Bulls Athletic Park, located in downtown Durham, opened in 1995 and has a seating capacity of 10,000. Constructed by George W. Kane Construction and designed by the Durham-based Freelon Group, in association with HOK Sport + Venue + Event - the architects who also constructed Camden Yards in Baltimore, Jacobs Field in Cleveland and Coors Field in Colorado - the DBAP features an old-style manual scoreboard at the base of a 32-foot-high wall stands in left field 305 feet from home plate, resembling Fenway Park's Green Monster. The Blue Monster, as it's called in Durham, contains a similar old-style manual scoreboard.

Duke University and Duke University Athletics are committed to promoting a safe environment for all game day guests. Guests are encouraged to make the right choice for their own safety and the safety of others around them.

Duke will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our extended community. We strongly encourage all individuals to be fully vaccinated before attending events on the Duke University campus.
