At the beginning of the year, MACOG announced a $4.2 million grant to build more than 30 electric vehicle charging stations in the region.

GOSHEN — A $50,000 match toward building electric vehicle charging stations in Goshen survived budget talks ahead of adoption.

Goshen Common Council on Monday voted to adopt the 2025 budget, a total of $58 million among standard funds plus $34 million in home-rule funds. The city’s home-rule funds include more than $24 million in tax increment finance districts, $3 million in public safety local option income tax and $2.8 million in American Rescue Plan money.
